•پاراسمپاتیک:

–تحریک سبب انقباض عضله صاف و افزایش ترشح

–نورونهای پیش عقده ای در دو قسمت قرار دارند: در اعصاب کرانیال( زوجهای VII و IX و X) و در نخاع ساکرال ( S2-S4)

– زوج VII به غدد زیر زبانی و تحت فکی

–زوج IX به غده پاروتید

– زوج X به مری،معده،لوزالمعده، روده کوچک و بیمه ابتدائی روده بزرگ

–اعصاب ساکرال به سیگموئید، رکتوم

•سمپاتیک:

–تحریک سبب شل شدن عضله صاف و کاهش ترشح

–نورونهای پیش عقده ای از شاخ جانبی نخاع در حد فاصل T5-L2 منشاء میگیرند

–بخش اعظم فیبرهای پس عقده ای از گانگلیونهای سلیاک و مزانتریک منشاء میگیرند

•با ورود غذا به معده بخش فوقانی معده شل میشود و غذا را بدون هرگونه افزایشی یا با افزایش مختصری در فشار در خود جای میدهند( شلی پذیرنده)

•امواج مخلوط کننده بصورت امواج پریستالتیک ضعیفی هر 15-20 ثانیه در قسمت میانی معده شروع میشود و بسوی آنتر پیشرفت میکند

•تخلیه معده:

•پس از مخلوط شدن مواد غذائی با ترشحات معده انقباضات قوی بویژه در قسمت آنتر معده بوجود می آید که قادر به تخلیه معده است

•اسفنکتر پیلور در تمامی اوقات در حال انقباض تونیک است

•درجه تنگی پیلور تحت تاثیر سیگنالهای عصبی و هومورال از معده و روده تغییر میکند
