چکیده انگلیسی:

The increasing requirements for bandwidth and
quality-of-service motivate the use of parallel interconnect architectures
with several degrees of reconfiguration. This paper
presents an IP, called Distributed Channel Management (DCM),
to extend existing packet-switched NoCs with a reconfigurable
point-to-point network seamlessly, i.e., without the need for any
modification on the routers. The configuration of the reconfigurable
network takes place dynamically and autonomously, so
that the topology can be changed at run time. Furthermore,
the architecture is scalable due to the autonomous decentralized
administration of the links.
The Paper reports a thorough experimental analysis of the
overhead of the approach at the gate level that considers different
network parameters such as flit size and timing constraints.

الزامات افزایش پهنای باند و کیفیت سرویس ، برای استفاده از معماری اتصال موازی با درجه های مختلفی از پیکر بندی دوباره ایجاد انگیزه می کند . این مقاله یک IP ارائه می دهد که مدیریت کانال توزیع (DCM) نامیده می شود،که برای گسترش سوئیچینگ بسته ای موجود در NOC ها با یک شبکه NOC نقطه به نقطه یک پارچه با قابلیت پیکربندی مجدد (یعنی بدون نیاز به هر گونه اصلاح در روتر). پیکربندی شبکه با قابلیت پیکربندی مجدد به صورت پویا و مستقل صورت می گیرد ،به طوری که می توان توپولوژی در زمان اجرا تغییر داد. علاوه بر این، مقیاس پذیر معماری با توجه به مدیریت غیر متمرکز و مستقل از لینک ها می باشد. مقاله گزارشی از رویکرد در سطح گیت که پامتر های شبکه های مختلف از قبیل اندازه Flit و محدودیت های زمانی را در نظر گرفته و به طور کامل تجزیه و تحلیل می کند.

Effect of solvent evaporation on the formation of asymmetric and symmetric membranes with crystallizable EVAL polymer

Abstract

The effect of the evaporation process on the nonsolvent-induced phase inversion in the poly (ethylene-co-vinyl alcohol) (EVAL)/DMSO/water systemwas investigated.The duration of the evaporation process correlatedwith the resultantmembrane morphologies via scanning electron microscope. Surprisingly, evaporation time not only played an important role in the existence of macrovoids, but also affected membrane morphology from sponge structure to particulate structure. Macrovoids were found within a membrane if the casting was immediately immersed into water bath or the evaporation time was less than 15min, while macrovoids diminished and sponge structure appeared with evaporation time of 30min. When the evaporation time was 45 and 60min, a symmetric membrane consisting of a packed bed of nearly equal-diameter particles dominated by the solid–liquid demixing process was observed. This suggests that crystallization of EVAL polymer from the evaporated solution inhibited the formation of an asymmetric membrane with cellular pores dominated by the liquid–liquid demixing process. Compared with the corresponding phase diagram, such a crystallization process depends on how deep the solid–liquid demixing region is entered. The results of this study show that the structure of membranes can be well controlled by the knowledge of membrane formation mechanism.
